Tommy Tant Surf Classic

The first weekend of November was the 11th Annual Tommy Tant surf Classic in Flagler Beach, FL. It was a two day event and I shot both days in the freezing cold weather including at night for the Red Bull Night Riders session. I shot film and digital and have too many photos to post on this blog, you can look at the rest of them here:

Ice in the Studio

These are shots from my studio lighting final. The concept behind these photos is the recent oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico. I used objects that are from the Gulf or represent the Gulf and froze them in water until they were solid chunks of ice. This is my way of telling people to preserve what is left.

Happy Thanksgiving

Had a small Thanksgiving back home this year with just my parents and sister. Grabbed a few shots between mouthfuls of turkey and stuffing. My dog was upset she couldn't be part of dinner.

This was shot this past summer with a few friends of mine. Shot entirely on a Canon 7D with a 50mm f/1.4 or 16-35mm f/2.8 Canon Lens. Shot as a music video for the drummers band, this is just footage of him.

Isolated Color

These are from my color studies class. The assignment was isolated color and I simply painted a box bright green and photographed it a parking garage I found. These were the best images from the shoot.
